Gyros Express - Chandler

Been a while since I've been in this area to eat. Stopped by about an 1 hour before posted closing time. And the place is closed. Most likely won't be back. I understand it's changed ownership not interested in giving them another go. I get it things happen. Post a sign or adjust your hours.

Gyros are very tasty AND they will put cucumbers on them if you ask but they are dry so ask for extra sauce. Just trust me! Tiziki sauce is pretty good, not phenomenal but not bad either. Veggies are not cut up so made eating a bit tough. Next time I'll bring it home and cut everything up. I'll definitely be back.

I visit this restaurant regularly and almost always order the Gyro salad, despite the many other appealing options on the menu. The salad is consistently perfect, featuring fresh, crisp greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a generous portion of gyro meat (beef and lamb), topped off with dressing and two of the best olives you'll ever taste. If you want more olives, you can easily request them for a small extra charge. The pita bread is fantastic, but since I'm watching my carbs, I typically skip it. Absolute horrible service. I stopped by because I needed a quick lunch and they seemed fast. I ordered the veggie combo plate but either was misheard or the cashier was confused: I received a veggie pita. I worked in the service industry for eight years and will eat anything so not to cause a fuss I tried it out. The pita was a soggy mess of mush, the veggies were over cooked, the whole thing was drenched in vinegar and it was the size of a frozen burrito. When I asked for a refund the cashier told me the owner would not refund my order and the whole crew went back to working as if I wasn't even there, no explanation; nothing. If this is any indication of the rest of their menu and the service you can expect, go elsewhere.

We have been going to this place for years and it is obvious that ownership or a management has changed. There is barely any euros meat in the sandwiches anymore. Cheap cheep cheep! I called them because I thought it was a mistake and they would not rectify it. They stated that it is what it is. There's nothing there going to do. I told them that it was paid on the credit card now I wasn't paying for it. Stay away! I tried calling back again and all they would do is hang up on me.
