Elvira's Belizean Cafe - Chandler

We drove from Tucson to Chandler for lunch in Elvira. OMG! The food was delicious. We had salbutes for our appetizers. We ordered the Fried Snapper, pigtails with coconut rice and fried beans, fried chicken and the oxtail stew, which all came with coconut rice and beans, fried plantains and potato salad. The coconut water and the watermelon juice must have. The food took a long time to be served, but waiting was worth it. After all, we're Belizean nice like our food.

The customer service was outstanding, and our server was incredibly helpful with our menu selections. We began our meal with the panades, which were delicious—we tried both the fish and bean-filled varieties, and if we had to choose, we preferred the fish. For the main course, we enjoyed the oxtail, fried chicken, and stew chicken, all served with coconut rice. Each dish was packed with flavor and very satisfying! I will definitely return and recommend this place to others!

Great restaurant! The food was fantastic, and the staff and owner were very friendly. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. I absolutely loved the authentic Belizean panades and salbutes! I'm so happy to have discovered Belizean cuisine in Arizona!
