Applebee's Grill - Champaign

This place is officially worse than Denny’s…….. you’ll spend 2 hours sitting at the bar just trying to pick up a to go order. They’ll tell you somebody with better with you in a minute then you’ll sit there for an hour with no help then they’ll tell you they forgot to make your order and sit there for at least another hour with 5 or 6 dining room staff just standing around, sitting around doing nothing. So being short staffed isn’t the issue they just have poor quality service from the top down and don’t care about customers. Not to mention the place is dirty, smells bad, and has bats and flies flying around all over the place in December. This place is trash I recommend going to out back or Applebee’s don’t waste the time or money here to be disappointed. If you for some reason just really want some Applebee’s try the one in savoy I can’t imagine it being any worse or dirtier than this dump.

Wife really wanted to recreate the country song so we went the other day. Food was great, service was a little slow at times but to be expected since no one wants to work customer service right now. That said our waitress was friendly and working as hard a she could. Food came quickly, staff was friendly, we were seated fast so overall great time.

Excellent... Very good food and the place atmosphere

We were turned away with 10 people in side. They said they didn't have any servers so they could only seat 5 tables at a time. We asked to sit at the bar and were told no. Never go back again.

Honestly by far the worst experience we have had at ANY restaurant. The blonde pregnant manager was a joke! The food was awful. Flys flying all over our food in the middle of fall? The poor server his name was Tyler was over worked and overwhelmed the only server in the whole restaurant and zero help from his manager. He was apologetic and genuinely concerned about our experience but he is not Superman.
