Umi Sushi Hibachi Grill - Chalmette

I usually just go, but I got my whole family stuck in this place, one of my friends did the same with me. Well, if we have the desire for a really great Hibachi style, it is not cheap, but the food is really excellent and well done, so it is worth it.

I visited for the first time and I definitely plan to return! The hostess was incredibly patient and well-informed about the various dishes on the menu. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious! You can't go wrong by choosing to eat here. In fact, you might even run into me there!

Come hungry! The portions are huge, and you’ll definitely want to take some food home. The hibachi combination dinner was fantastic. Honestly, two people could easily share one meal or just order a single serving of hibachi rice instead of two. You also get complimentary pasta, shrimp, soup, and salad. The only downside was the salad, which could have been better. However, the hibachi experience more than made up for it. The sushi is great too—don't miss the white fish sushi or the New Orleans roll!

The takeout packaging was generous, but the steaks were overcooked. On the bright side, the sushi was fantastic! Personally, I would prefer a bit less onion in the mixed vegetables.
