Osteria Ama - Chadds Ford

We began our meal with grilled artichokes and a beet salad, both of which were excellent. However, there were three artichokes, which is a bit tricky for sharing among two couples. An even number of four would have been ideal. On the bright side, it did prompt me to order them again! The Veal Ama and Chicken Sorrentino were truly spectacular. I opted for spinach instead of pasta, and it was undoubtedly fresh and cooked to perfection.

The food was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and patient. I was pleasantly surprised that, despite it being a Friday night, we didn’t feel rushed at all like you often do in Italy. The restaurant was bustling, but they didn’t seem focused on turning over tables – the service was truly exceptional. Plus, being a BYOB venue is always a nice bonus!

We had a nice dinner, even though it was a particularly busy night. Some diners at nearby tables were quite loud, but it didn't overshadow our experience.

Overall, we really liked the food. Service was friendly and very good.

The food was good not great but the service staff were very polite fast.. Past reviews I read said the Chicken Piccata was great and I thought it was just okay.. I had better in other restaurants. Others in my party enjoyed the food too..
