Chiringuito Ribera Beach - Ceuta

¡¡BRUTAL!! Descubrir sabores nuevos es uno de los placeres más indescriptibles de la vida, y este sitio me dio uno de ellos gracias a su calabaza. Cremosa y crujiente a la vez, con una textura de lo más agradable al paladar. Junto con las patatas al horno y el pescado, fresquísimo, hicieron de la visita a la playa un momento perfecto.

Excellent place to taste very nice seafood/fish/Spanish specialties. Located on the Rivera beach you can enjoy an exceptional view . Service seems to be messy but it is in fact very efficient and staff always helpful. We came on Sunday around 1:30 pm and it was the right timing as the place becomes very very busy from 2:00pm. Also, don't miss out their home made ice cream and Apple pie!

This is one of the best places in Ceuta if you want to eat quality sea-food. It was recently refurbished and could be considered the most stylish place to eat all over Ceuta amongst the chiringuito-style places), with the advantage that you can go dressed in bathing trunks. But not only it is famous for the sea-food, they also have some different meat specialities such as barbecued “pinchitos” or kefta in real embers. The side dish is also a remarkable feature in this place. You could enjoy the bar and the close area around with different types of “tapas” or dishes, or either you could choose the dining platform. A quite good range of wines is also available. The Head waiter is quite a character a funny kind of guy) but always helpful and trying to keep the customer satisfied. Only one con: you don´t have a view on the price of the fish you choose, mainly if it comes from the main glass-display case. Therefore my recommendation is ask before making your decision.

Is it a chiringuito or a proper restaurant that happens to be located on the beach? Well, I'm not sure how to classify that local, but I do know that it's an impressive one! Very good food, very pleasant interior, nice staff and amazing views on the sea and Morrocoan mountains. A mandatory place to visit while in Ceuta! P.S. The food is very good and the place next to the beach so the price is chord. fish is quite expensive and attention is correct.
