Restaurant ZEST - Cesson-Sévigné

I traveled for work in Rennes and had lunch in Zest, the food was excellent and set on the river bank. Had to book a few days in advance to get a table. Only what the restaurant can improve was the timing for the... dish, We had to wait for 20 minutes for my dessert, We had limited time for lunch.

Right next to the river, it really doesn't seem like you at the edge of Rennes is the peaceful ambience of this restaurant. The food is excellent and the waiting staff is excellent. One of our parties was gluten intolerance, which was not a problem. Very cheap and friendly atmosphere. Recommended and we will return..

For lunch and dinner the different menus were not disappointed, lunch was fresh and super presented, and a good value for money! Sardines, then John Dory with an excellent potato puree and citrus oil, followed by melt into Brownies' mouth. Yummy. Dinner...was only divine: the best tuna tart I ever had, followed by beef served with carrots in three ways, and finish Banoffeee cake – beautiful. The service is friendly (English spoken), atmosphere zen bravo to their contemporary take in French cuisine. Will definitely return.
