Bidrage med feedbackWe are locals who haven't visited this cafe yet. The interior was camped up about 12 months ago and though still restricted in customer intake due to its small and intimate area, we were able to seat ourselves at a small table along the walkway leading to dining space at the rear. This area limits your ability to spread out in comfort so I would aim for the back area or outside dining. Coffee was fantastic. Service friendly and efficient. Banana bread was warm but average.
The food at Darwin's is no fuss cafe food. The food is decent and the price is reasonable. I've enjoyed the food the few times I've eaten there. It's all been tasty. One thing though, I always find the food portions to be a bit on the small side and sometimes I leave still feeling a bit hungry or like I need to order a second dish to be completely full.
I know I said in a previous review that another Cafe in town had the best coffee but I've changed my mind. Darwins on Vincent beat them hands down. I have yet to get e bad Coffee from them. I also had breakfast there as well and it too was perfect. Do yourself a favour and ditch the other place Insaid and Head here to Darwins on Vincent. You won't be disappointed.
Went for lunch on Friday and back for breakfast on Saturday. Both meals were really enjoyable. Staff were lovely. Really enjoyed the fact that there was room to move. Most cafe jam as many tables in as possible. At Dawins it was warm and comfy great place to get out of the weather on a rainy winters day.
Can't recommend this place enough!!!Having both my partner and I being chefs means we can be rather picky about food, also means lunchtime for everyone else is our usual breakfast time. All day breakfast and the Eggs Benedict are the best we have eaten in Cessnock. Having a 7 week old baby in a pram didn't cause an issue as the place is spaced enough for us to easily move around.Staff are friendly and can't fault anyone. Will definitely come back!!!
