Reservations are essential and should be made via text message; they will confirm your reservation and send you the daily menu. We ordered the Omakase, which is the chef's selection for the day based on a straightforward menu. To our pleasant surprise, the chef replaced the salad with other side dishes, including a perfect miso soup. I don't think anyone should mind the absence of the salad. The chef went above and beyond in preparing his signature Omakase, particularly the appetizer, which is a must-try. Overall, it gets a thumbs up. It's truly a hidden gem!
The agedashi mochi was amazing! Almost everything we ordered was fantastic. I really enjoyed the spicy ramen, and the meat on the spare ribs was so tender it fell right off the bone. I added a few pieces of yellowtail sashimi to my uni don, and I wish I had gotten more because it was fresh and delicious. The beef tataki was just alright.
The staff were incredibly polite! I appreciated the extensive selection available on the menu. The Uni Don was delightful, and the Beef Tartare was outstanding. This is definitely a place I would come back to.
The restaurant offers delicious traditional Japanese dishes at reasonable prices. It's comparable to the small food stalls I visited in Japan. They have a wide selection of rice bowls, ramen, and udon dishes, along with an assortment of meats and seafood to choose from. During lunch, you also receive a complimentary salad and miso soup (an additional $1 for dinner). If you're craving Japanese food, this place is definitely worth a visit.
This restaurant offers amazing comforting Japanese food. They have a fantastic selection of home-style dishes, ranging from oyakodon to sabaro don. Most importantly, my stomach is always satisfied after a meal here!
