La Playita - Centro Pitillal

Over the past several years, La Playita has from very good to below average. We had stopped going there for a few years, but recently tried it again out of convenience (we live nearby). We all four ordered the shrimp fajitas. Instead of the hot black stone bowl the fajitas used to come in, they were on a plate with the rice and beans. It looked like a cafeteria serving. The food was slightly above room temperature. The service was good and the dining room is great right on the waters edge with a great view of the bay. Go there for drinks and appetizers, but dine elsewhere.

La Playita is the best Great food and service in a wonderful setting. Overlooking the ocean. You can't beat it. The wait staff is always on top of things. The drink specials are really yummy, all the food is really yummy. They sometimes have special pasta night or steak night. I prefer their regular menu, but maybe that's just me. You really can't go wrong.
