Bidrage med feedbackLots of yummy food. Can try if you’re in Singapore.
The entire menu is eggless but some dishes contain dairy; just need to confirm with the staff : Featured here are the tiny potato salad 6 ; contains dairy , the unagi maki 15 ; mayo contains dairy for sharing, Dad’s avocado fried rice 15 , Sis’s cold somen 12 , and, not forgetting, my kishi udon 11 with a piece of sweet savoury inari skin. Loved the ambience, the interior decor, the plating the service, and gosh that teapot pattern is made out of dreams :’ Taste wise, I liked how the udon was cooked to the right level of doneness, and how the savoury udon broth was really yummy : It got too salty for me after getting through half the bowl, but this is quite common for this kind of udon soups I feel maybe it’s just my tastebuds xP Dad’s fried rice was expectedly oily but was super fragrant and not too salty, Sis’s cold somen was really smooth refreshing : As for the unagi x cucumber maki rolls, it’d have been better if the unagi was pre marinated with the sparsely distributed dots of decorative teriyaki sauce on the plate, which would have taken the dish to another level :3
Offers a good selection of Japanese vegetarian cuisine, which also includes set meals, udon, tempoura, rice, side snacks and sushi. there is this mock salmon-sashimi that looks like the salmon-sashimi, but it is not meat. the portion of the meal is quite generous and with miso suppe and dessert. tasting and filling! if the set is too large, there is the possibility to select the unset elements. the place is close to MRT stations such as bugis mrt and bencoolen downtown stations; and directly opposite the intersection from the famous fortune center that has a lot of vegetarian shops.
Went with my friends for dinner, ordered a lot of food, a few dishes were ok below average only. udon soba soups were oily, the teriyaki chicken was nice price was not cheap asked if cheese was used in the spring rolls, and whether was it vegan? staff can't really answer my question; was a bit disappointed. my hubby preferred Herbivore Japanese Vegetarian Restaurant. A small but unique Japanese restaurant in Singapore. Enormous menu, including various mock meats and maki rolls. The tempura avocado was amazing! Some of the mushroom dishes were a little tough and could have used more seasoning.
