Watermill - Central Dr, Hornchurch

Unfortunately we attended the calvary on the last day it was opened.Its closing due to the rising costs of heating and food.. its a great shame as it was the best calvary around.. and the staff worked tirelessly.. Thankfully the cafe section remains open...

I went to have breakfast at the Watermill Cafe today and waited 45min for the food. I gave up waiting after asking twice whether the food was going to take much longer, decided to leave and asked for a refund only to be told there would be no refund because they have a sign on the register warning of a 30+ min wait for the food! I had to insist on the refund which I eventually got. I hope they are aware that this policy is illegal and their sign means exactly nothing and doesn't affect the rights of their customers.

Went for full English breakfast. There was a long hair in the egg . Notified the waitress who said it the egg. After close look she agreed it a hair . She did not apologise took the food and throw it in the bin. She then ask if i want another one which i decline and walk away No apologies what so ever. Rude staff.

Lovely cosy place with friendly and attentive staff. They have a wide range of quality food on their menu, and everything I've tried so far (burgers, spaghetti bolognaise, baked potato, fry up) has been delicious! Really nice milkshakes. Prices are decent. Great place for a wholesome lunch.

OMG … my friends have always said how scrumptious the Sunday carvery is and it didn’t disappoint. The tenderest roast beef and lamb ever. Potatoes were absolutely delicious and not cooked from frozen or deep fried. Cauliflower Cheese
