I stumbled upon Old Spike while taking a walk shortly after moving to the area. I soon realized that it features on every "best coffees in London" list out there. Not only do they serve excellent coffee and have a welcoming staff, but they also have a strong social mission. While there are many other excellent coffee spots nearby, Old Spike quickly became our favorite from the start.
