Bidrage med feedbackFirst, let me say the positives. It's in a great part of town, the price was right, the lobby is fantastic and beautiful, the room is very modern and well kept. So why the two stars? Because I'm finding this all over the place, and it's deceptive advertising. This place knows that their Wi-Fi is terrible, that a huge percentage of the people who check in here, and who even pay for Wi-Fi, aren't going to end up getting it. They so much admitted that to us when we told them the Wi-Fi didn't work. Yeah, they said, people do complain. Their solution was to tell us that if we needed something important to do, just go to the lobby, the Wi-Fi is fine there. Deceptive advertising, and a completely unacceptable explanation, and not even an attempt to remediate by giving us even a partial refund. Crap happens, but this smacks of deceptive advertising, so despite all the good, I wonder what else they're telling people that isn't true. Stay away from this place until they change how they do things.
Disgusting, dirty room, mould growing in the bathroom. Furniture was so tired it was actually falling apart. Poorly cleaned if cleaning it is even possible in such a state?
For the money you pay and the picture of the room They show you think it'll be an amazing stay... Do not be fooled It's like an Oreo with no filling.. looks good on the outside but disappointing on the inside Shower temperature doesn't work You have to pay for wifi The drainage in the bathroom flooded the floor so the towels I used to dry were the floor. The lady at the front desk (can tell she gets upset customers quite frequently bluntly said towels are $4 pounds even when it's their faulty room causing the issue our tv cable was chewed through by a rat the dryer doesn't work properly the room is tiny Absolute waste of money and poor service. Total joke and poor excuse for a business
The lobby looks semi descent, but the whole building is old and needed a renovation 20 years ago, perhaps a tear-down. First they gave me a room, supposedly an upgrade, it had black mold on the ceiling above the bed (room was on the ninth floor). I brought that to their attention, they did not seem to care as much (about the health hazard). The person handling the complain tells the supervisor over the phone he does not like the room . Like? It is a health hazard!! The room was not that great either. Then they offered me two other rooms, lot shittier but no mold, as far as I could see. So I took the less shitty room. Then complained about the towels. Had red stain on them. Got new hopefully clean towels. I be here for few nights unfortunately. I probably post more pictures. Customer service is terrible, and the staff don 't care. Oh yes. No free WiFi. Avoid!!!
Decent rooms and a cute kitchen. It's in a nice area and easily accessible from the freeway. That said, checking in a was PAIN. I emailed them twice before arriving to see if it was possible to check in early, or at least drop off our bags. No response. We arrived about an hour before our official check in time, and they allowed us to drop off our bags. We went to grab some food, and came back at the regular check in time only to be informed that we would have to keep waiting for our room because housekeeping was behind. We were forced to wait in a VERY cold, drafty waiting room with no seating for 45 minutes. Similar story when we asked for a hairdryer. We had to call reception several times and it took nearly two hours to receive it. Wifi is an additional charge- about $14/day (which seems excessive). Showers are low pressure and not as warm as you might hope during the London winter. Staff was generally pleasant and the rooms were cute, but the wifi and check in process made our stay less than pleasant.
