Bastard Buns - Central Dr, Hornchurch

Ordered a bbq chicken box meal, paid £17 which is an extortionate price in itself so was expecting a half decent meal. Unfortunately the meal was anything but. The wings were dry and tiny, the rustic chips had literally no potato in it, it was like eating oily shells, and the burger stunk of what i can only describe as old oil and smoke. Not ideal, had to dump half of it in the bin. I have very little sympathy for places and owners like these who charge ludicrous prices for a meal you wouldnt expect to pay more than £4.99 for. Don't bother ordering here, they take no pride in the food they cook here. Not one thing was edible. My partner got the hamburger with chips and I got mayo chicken burger with chips. Not sure how you can make something taste so bad for something so easy to make. Maybe try some seasoning to give your food flavor, or change the oil you're using.
