Your Chicken Pie is the most delicious savory pie I've ever tasted! With a cooler in hand, we picked up the large Chicken Pie and a small Thanksgiving Pie to take back to NYC from the Cape. It was a delightful culinary experience enjoyed by everyone! Next on our menu will be the Thanksgiving Pie, which is sure to be a hit! Maybe it?s because we ordered the frozen pies by mail but both chicken and shepherds were a big disappointment. And they were expensive. Chicken with no vegetables was unhealthy and boring. Shepherds only had mashed potatoes and corn and it lackedflavor. I can make much better at home.

My wife and I recently bought a frozen Shepherd's Pie from our local Market Basket, and we had high hopes given the price. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed; it was easily one of the worst, if not the worst, Shepherd's Pies we've ever had. While the pie did have a decent amount of filling, it was incredibly dry and completely lacked flavor. The meat had a strange mushy texture, and the corn was still crunchy. We cooked the pie for 100 minutes to reach the recommended internal temperature of 170 degrees in the center, and then we had to broil it for an additional 2 minutes just to get some browning on top. I definitely do not recommend their frozen pies, but I can’t comment on their other in-store products.

I purchased a frozen chicken pot pie that included vegetables, and it was just okay. However, two weeks later I accidentally bought one of your chicken pies, and it was dreadful. The chicken was rubbery, and the pie had a strange flavor. You really need to improve your seasoning. Perhaps you could reach out to Marie Callender for some advice. Fortunately, I bought both of these frozen pies on sale at Big Y because they are definitely not worth the full price you’re charging.

A bright spot on our Cape vacation! Enjoyed several dinner as well as desert pies. Chicken, shepherds, apple, barbecue. Highly recommend! Great people and great pie!
