The Halal Hut - Centereach

I am a regular at this restaurant - they offer great prices, generous portions, excellent customer service, and the best halal food I have ever tasted! This is my absolute favorite place to dine, and their Bloody Marys are fantastic as well.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious with unexpected flavors. Everything is fresh and the restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for ordering. The Philly cheesesteak is a must-try, as they fill it generously with meat. The rice platters are also very filling and can easily serve as both lunch and dinner. Overall, I definitely recommend trying this place.

I believe it is the best place for a quick stopover. As a transit driver, I stop there every day for lunch. The chicken is delicious, the restaurant is clean, and they provide generous portion sizes. The staff is also very friendly.

WOW! This place is incredible. I was craving some halal food and had no idea this place was here. The staff is incredible and the food is phenomenal. I got sides of a few different sauces and every single one of them was some of the best I've ever had. Iordered the chicken over rice and it doesn't even need sauce honestly. I can't wait to come back and try everything else theyhave. New favorite spot!

Stopped by this place today, and was greeted by friendly staff. They asked me if I wanted to sample some of the meats which took me by surprise and was actually a nice gesture. I ended up ordering the grilled chicken over rice with assorted toppings andwhite sauce. The chicken was very fresh and tender. Compared to shah's which can be a hit or miss of dry wet meat. As well,portions were very generous. I consider myself a person who eats more than an American sized portion, and I still couldn'tfinish the platter. Overall, this place is definitely worth the stop. Different palate compared to Shah's but everything wasfresh and the service was phenomenal. -Updating this review to say this place is still one of the best Halal spots locally.Portion sizes are amazing.
