The Potter House - Celina

My favorite place in the area! Just incredibly original, great atmosphere, and excellent, healthy food!!

In Celina, there aren’t many places for a decent breakfast; most coffee shops are fast-food chains. This could very well be the only place where the coffee doesn't taste like hot water. They feature several coffee varieties, including pour-overs. I tried a regular coffee, which cost about $3 for a medium size, and it was quite enjoyable—no bitter aftertaste that some lower-quality coffees can have. If you’re looking for breakfast, this is also a good choice. Their menu includes both classic and modern dishes. I had the avocado toast, which was about $3 for a generous portion of toast topped with plenty of avocado—worth the price thanks to the ample avocado. It also included toasted walnuts, adding a nice touch. Overall, it’s a solid breakfast spot with the best variety of coffee in Celina. You’ll usually find it isn’t too busy in the mornings, making it a relaxing place to start your day.

I stumbled upon this restaurant during a spontaneous drive through Celina. Although I was disappointed that they didn't have any pork for the pulled pork sandwich, the brisket sandwich I ended up ordering was incredible—truly the best brisket I've ever had. It was tender, flavorful, and not at all dry. I also tried the macaroni-Italian salad on the side, which was delicious. Overall, both dishes were excellent. The restaurant has a cute and quaint atmosphere, featuring unique tables and chairs. It also seems like a fantastic local spot for hanging out or getting some work done. If I return to this town, I will definitely stop by again.

This restaurant is an awesome spot! I grabbed a calzone to-go since I was on the road for work. I also had the chance to sit down and play a few tunes on the piano. This place really has it all! It’s a pizza place, a café/coffee shop, a bar/brewery, a pottery studio, and they feature live music!

It's mandatory to come here whenever we are in town visiting the parents. Great sandwiches and soup and of course the coffee! Awesome live music, big enough to hold a crowd but small enough to feel intimate. My parents go all of the time for their special events like Valentine's dinner and wine tasting. I go for the cute gift shop that is attached. Outdoor seating. Alcohol. Great music.
