Ridgee Didge Cafe - Cedar Vale

I have been to Bar Du Centre during the week of the 24 Hours race.

I never regret getting a coffee here because they use their own blend and it is devine, there is also a good choice of different meals and gluten free options such a great service for Barcaldine.

Based on reviews, we were hoping for something a bit different however Ridgy Didge cafe provided a standard country town cafe menu which was basically meat based e.g. burgers The first two items we chose from the menu were not available so we settled for something else. Service and coffee were good.

We found this by pure chance on our family road trip. It's close by to the Tree of Knowledge. Coffee was as good as any brew in the city and the food was spot on. Highly recommended. A good change from the roadhouse food and coffee we had been having all week.

Great food and an awesome selection for the gluten free community. Take away or dine in - the food came fast and was delicious. And big serves! Value for money for sure!
