Whiskey Jo's - Cedar Rapids

I ordered the smothered chicken without mushrooms which I verified with the waitress that I could order it that way and when I got my meal it was smothered in mushrooms and the chicken was burnt and dry. They brought out a new one which was covered in bacon pieces and no gravy or cheese and was super dry. I couldn’t eat it because it was so salty. The waitress apologized as she knew she is the one that ordered it wrong the first time so she took 8.00 off my meal ?which was the price of the Brussel sprouts. Not sure why it wasn’t the price of the chicken but I will not be going back there and will discourage anyone that mentions the place not to go!

Last night we were searching for a great place to eat and have dinner cocktails close to airport. And my friend and I were both thoroughly impressed. Started with the steak mix as appetizer, had delicious drinks, and food to go. Listened to the locals sing karaoke which is always fun. The bartender was fabulous. I can't rave on her enough. The bathrooms really impressed me also very clean, inviting, and any feminine supplies you could need.Great place we will be back the next time we travel. For sure.O, I almost forgot the Brussel sprouts were FABULOUS!!!!

Have never had a bad time there.The Waitress/Bartender is very good at her job she's very friendly talks to you as if friends for a while.The karaoke there is very good a lot of fun laughs the best thing besides the food, friendliness, Mr. Pibb, is there are no fights, cops have never been called as long as I've been going there that's been quite often.It's one of the good family restaurants to come eat listen to random people sing.

A friend and I visited this place last night for the first time. As a small town bar and grill owner, I must say that this place was excellent! The food was great, martini’s were perfect and the bartender was amazing! The only regret I have is that I didn’t catch her name because she really needs to be acknowledged for her service!! We will definitely be returning!!

The food is kind of expensive and the portions are kind of small. It seems like barely any fries but not a bad place to have a few drinks and relax.
