Lighthouse Inn - Cedar Rapids

We were in town for a reunion and decided to dine out with my wife's sister and her husband, based on a recommendation. The service and our waitress were outstanding. The timing of the courses—appetizers, salads, and entrées—was perfectly timed. We will definitely make it a point to return to CR for another visit.

The staff and our meals were outstanding. I was there with my two daughters, and we had a fantastic time. After dinner, we headed to the lounge and enjoyed the lovely jazz trio performing on Saturday nights.

A friend of mine invited me to check out this restaurant, as she has visited it in the past. The atmosphere was tranquil, with the ocean nearby. The staff was friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the Trio appetizer and the salad was delicious as well. I also tried the 27 Chevy drink, which had a strong alcohol flavor for those who enjoy more robust cocktails. Overall, it was a great experience!

Great ambience, good service and a surprisingly good IPA selection. Very like a typical evening club. It was like getting back to the 40s. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the original fish I owned, but the replacement was very good.

They just don't make restaurants like this, anymore. Amazing, authentic, old-school supper club. The food is homemade from scratch, the service is warm and friendly. Highly recommend!
