Chrome Horse Saloon - Cedar Rapids

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The pizza is fantastic! The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. The staff is incredibly friendly.

The food was delicious, but the service was a bit lacking. We experienced long wait times for drinks, and our appetizers arrived with our main course, which was lukewarm as if it had been sitting for a while. Our server seemed overwhelmed with too many tables to attend to. We understand the current challenges with workforce shortages, but despite these issues, we still enjoyed our dining experience.

I am adding an additional star for the owner's responsiveness. Thank you, Derek! While the service was great, unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken, but the lettuce was clearly not fresh and the chicken was tough.

It seems like today good service is hard to find. Great service doesn 't exist anymore. Friday I went with friends to watch a great band. The Chrome Horse was packed. Every table full and dance floor was also bar etc. Angie was our server and the girlwas above and beyond. She made our experience incredible. As a society we always speak on the bad, and rarely report on thegood. Angie Smith is fantastic! And the chrome horse is my fav. Chill spot! Great job and thank you for a fantastic Friday. Theband that was there is called Well Lit if you get a chance to watch them do it. I promise you won 't be disappointed!

We hosted my son and daughter in laws wedding rehearsal dinner here. From the very beginning Allie was extremely helpful to me as everything up until the day was done via telephone conversations as I do not live in Cedar Rapids. She communicated clearlyand I appreciated all her advice along the way. The day of went perfectly, although the place was packed we had our own privateroom and the prime rib buffet was delicious.Derek did an amazing job organizing the food station. Our servers that night wentabove and beyond. Everyone was so impressed by their level of service, not to mention how personable both ladies were. Ibelieve their names were Sarah and Lisa Anyway, it was an awesome evening! The day after the wedding my son in law wanted to goback , he was curious about the menu and lots to try, so we stopped in and Derek recognized us and treated us to a lunch. Suchnice people!!!!
