Cedar River Landing - Cedar Rapids

They featured an incredible band called Toxic Blonde during the Halloween weekend, and they were fantastic. The drink prices are affordable, and the atmosphere has that classic Midwestern bar vibe.

This place has a rich history. I grew up just down the alley, and although I'm not sure what it was before the 1980s, I do know it used to be an antique shop and storage space, which closed down before the 2008 flood. I'm so glad someone decided to invest in it and breathe new life into the space. Now it's always lively! The service is consistently excellent, the bands play loudly, the drinks are strong, and the food is consistently good bar fare. It's a fantastic bar scene overall.

The fish and chips were excellent friendly staff. Good prices. Many interesting menus.

Another place where you have to get in, sir down, and be part of the scene. If you are, you'll see what this is about. It's just at home, you feel like you're being without compelling. If you can't sit back and relax, you're too tight. No one bugged us and no one rolled the red carpet. They only treated us like we were there forever. I recommend this place.
