Love their family meals. Love the new look of the restaurant. And the attire of the staff. The menu has great pictures and clear fonts to read the description of the dishes and the prices are affordable

As always max fried chicken is delicious. They don’t have the famous pancit palabok. Kitchen is fast, unfortunately service is lagging. Max’s Restaurant at SM Bacolod CIty Armand From Calgary, Canada

They have three chicken sizes in the fried chicken menu. I ordered large paying additional cost and I asked that the chicken come out whole and uncut. They brought the chicken out served on a platter and it was cut. This chicken was flattened to hide the fact that they had served me a medium chicken. The drumsticks were tiny. I've eaten at this chain many times but this branch in Cebu is in my opinion dishonest and deceptive so Avoid!! Staff are surfing so internet is unusable and very slow. Manager said chicken shrunk in oil but she knows I'm not stupid. She asked to bring another uncut one but I declined. Avoid! Lastly the air was turned down to save cooling costs..

We had a bad experience at Max Sm Seaside, one time we had dinner with a couple there, the lemon juice was soiled, which resulted in diarrhea, good thing nothing happened to the pregnant wife then. One time we were there again, my husband chicken taste funny and there is a smell whereas mine was ok. Instead of giving us new plate, the waiter argued with us that kitchen said the chicken was fresh delivered and newly cooked!. bastos kaayo like we are scammers,. Amidst the argument, no manager showed up to assist, no one was there to help us just the waiter foolishly arguing with us. Bad food, bad customer service, bad restaurant!

I really disliked it there, we waited 15 minutes for the chicken sisig, it tasted burnt and dry, the taste was terrible, I payed 160+ pesos for something that tasted terrible, never going there, I regretted eating there.
