Bidrage med feedbackSpent just one night here had a lovely stay, the staff were very welcoming, and nothing too much trouble, the room we stayed in exceeded our expectations, and had a lovely view across the village green, and we have rebooked for our next visit.
A cheerful place, right at the edge of the village green. light meals, ale and wine. to be a relaxing place.
Wonderfully restored local village public house with a range of real ales and drinks. The staff are open and friendly and you feel at peace as soon as you enter the door. They also rent out small rooms next the pub and while they don't do food the atmosphere and welcome more than make up for it. Be aware, that the name five bells is due to the church bells next door that have been ringing on time for decades. For me it is the call of the countryside for others an annoyance.
Very helpful staff, friendly atmosphere. Good beers and fish chips from the visiting van!
A wonderful little place to stay, exactly what it says on the tin. You walk in to a clean and fresh room with all you need for a short stay and to the rear you have your own bathroom. Very well lit, tv, coffee making facilities, clean white fluffy towels and white bedding. Very impressed with the standard of the room. The rooms are next to the pub so you don’t hear any ‘pub noise’. There is a church opposite that chimes on the hour, a lovely sound if you ask me but you do get a set of ear plugs if it isn’t for you. And finally the family running the pub, very warm and welcoming. Couldn’t be more helpful to you. We will definitely be back for another stay. Thank you :
