Hill's Den Guest House - Cavelossim

Beach touches the property. Go for morning or evening walks. Beach restaurant however is not operational during rains else a dinner on the sands would have been great. Large pool and a pool bar. Cocktails at Aqua were made very well. Nice company at bar too. Enjoyed beer at pool bar. Nityanand gives good local travel tips. Rooms spread over a large area , so a lot of walking, which is fun, or call for electric buggy. Room had multiple small issues. TV reception very bad. Complained but could not be solved. Curtains not closing completely etc. Main issue was parking my car. Apparently they do not have a parking lot. Just park on one side of the driveway. No valet. One evening we found a car parked on the wrong side of the driveway and that blocked my exit. Not acceptable in any hotel forget Leela. Modifications going on as name change is approaching so no proper reception. Spa is very good. Excellent therapist. Buffet breakfast of high quality and large spread. Speciality restaurant, Riverside, is a wonderful fine dine. What a location and setting. Edit: The Leela where we stayed is now St Regis. I have no clue why Google changed the property name to Hills Den Guest House

Hands down the best Sunday brunch in the state. A huge buffet with various cuisines. The best selection of desserts. One can even use the swimming pool complimentary or go to the private beach to spend time post brunch. Amazing scenic views all around the hotel. Service: 5 Location: 5

Great rooms, very clean and the pools beach and all amenities were extremely clean. Staff were extremely friendly from reception, housekeeping, security, restauraunt etc. The morning breakfast was next level. Dinner from room service was spectacular.
