Pastafina - Cave Springs

My first time eating here for my birthday back in March was a little bumpy (server was informed of my nut allergy forgot and didn’t want to provide me with a dessert without nuts) but the owner manager handled the situation perfectly.I’ve now been multiple times and the food has always been fantastic. I’ve continued to return and recommended Pastafina to anyone looking for good pasta. The stuff mushrooms ravioli bread oil are great starters! The pasta trio is a great option to try a little bit of all the main pasta options!

Overall Pastafina is a decent Italian Restaurant, with a good vibe and plenty of great options. It was surprisingly busy on a Tuesday evening, with about a 30 minute wait for 2 at around 6:30pm. The bread was delicious it was warm, fluffy, and seasoned well! I tried the eggplant Parmesan and was underwhelmed. The eggplant was a bit soggy and maybe not fully cooked, and the spaghetti seemed average. I would give it another chance but it didn't really meet my expectations based on the crowd here.

We went therefor first time and we were impressed by food and service. The food tasted fantastic. They brought special bread at the beginning and was delicious. Also the price was good. And one more thing, dessert was fresh and tasty. Highly

Service was good...disnt feel rushed at all. Ambience was ok too. Felt a little more upscale but we went in in tshirts and shorts and didn't feel out of place. I was so excited to try this place based on the many reviews but was quite disappointed. I had the chicken w/ mushrooms and it was just SWIMMING in sauce that was quite flavorless. I had very few pieces of pasta and they were chewy (not in a good way)...little flavor and just SO MUCH SAUCE. My husband had the eggplant parmesean and he wasnt a fan. It was mushy, the sauce was not flavored well. My son had the salmon picata which he enjoyed we did ask for super light sauce and it still came with a bunch of sauce. My youngest had the cheese tortellini without any sauce and he said it was ok. The bread looks delicious but was pretty flavorless as well. Overall pretty disappointing and probably won't be back.

The food is so worth the wait!! Everything taste so fresh and homemade. The staff was so amazing and made me feel at home. One of the best places to get pasta in NWA! The calamari was so delicious but the mushrooms are a show stopper!
