Maudi’s cafeteria and bakery is a classic. It was like stepping back to childhood. All the cakes are made upstairs on the premises by hand. We had entertainment too as someone who’d won a voucher phoned for directions. But when he arrived he didn’t have the voucher on him. Doh. I did take photos but can’t find them!!! Darn.

Bumped into an old friend mid-morning. He suggested a pot of tea in Maudie's. Good idea. Lots of gossip over a scone.

What I love most about this place is the friendly welcome and warm hospitality. Good home cooked traditional yummy food. Customer service at the best.
