J&j Smokehouse Bbq - Catskill

We just returned from a food truck event with around 20 vendors, and we couldn't resist stopping at my favorite restaurant in Catskill—one of my all-time favorite BBQ spots! We always order the three-meat combo (which comes with two sides) and share it. They really pile the meat on the plate! I highly recommend the jerk chicken and the mac and cheese.

Hidden gem in the town of Catskill, excellent food ,great BBQ pull pork was the best that I had in a long time, service was great, eat in ,good clean restaurant.

Fantastic BBQ with generous portions! The ribs were incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone, and the pulled pork was excellent. The burnt ends were delicious as well. While visiting upstate NY, I was craving BBQ, but it’s always a gamble. I’m thrilled to say this is some of the best BBQ I've had north of North Carolina and east of Kansas City.

Born in Catskill, live in Kansas City. As a KC inhabitant, I've learned good BBQ, and J&J does not disappoint. Anything on the menu is a win, and it's done very well. Proud to have a place like this in my home town.
