Bidrage med feedbackThe soups were delicious, but the enchiladas were inedible. The chicken in the enchiladas was so dry that we couldn't cut it with a knife, and the enchilada shells were also too dry to bite through. The soups were fantastic, so I'm guessing the enchiladas were quite old and just reheated.
The food was good, although the location wasn’t the best. However, it truly felt like authentic Mexican cuisine, with delicious green and red moles. It reminded me of Mexico, unlike those fancy restaurants that claim to serve Mexican food but really just offer Americanized versions. Just because they have nachos or corn tortillas doesn’t make it genuine! I highly recommend this place for a completely different experience. Just be sure to ask for no spicy options!
I visited for lunch today and ordered the Polo flautas platter, which was a generous serving that my husband and I could easily share. The chips and salsa appetizer was delicious, and the queso fresca that accompanied the flautas was outstanding, packed with chicken filling. It's evident that this is a family-friendly restaurant, making it a wonderful place for authentic Mexican food. I'm really pleased they are in the neighborhood! However, I did notice that the drinks were somewhat overpriced.
I entered the restaurant with high hopes, eager to explore the menu and hear about the specials. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I was completely ignored from the moment I walked in until I ultimately chose to leave and head to the nearby Double T Diner instead. There was no greeting, goodbye, or any assistance offered. I’m not sure what went wrong that day, but I was genuinely interested in trying something—the dishes I saw looked beautifully presented!
This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food! The menu was a little confusing, but the staff were extremely friendly and overall, we had a great dining experience.
