Beijing - Catonsville

Great food and service. This time I went on a Friday night at 6pm. Waited an hour for my food from the time I ordered, but it was totally worth it. The guy who works the counter is amazing taking phone and in person orders, handling food pick up, etc., all on his own. Even with at least 15 people waiting for food, he remembered who ordered what. Everyone was mindful of social distancing, but that meant some folks waited outside until he called them. Will absolutely order again and again but maybe avoid Friday and Saturday night dinner time, because he said it's always crazy busy then.

Typically the food is good. Tonight I ordered Broccoli, brown sauce and fried rice. The sauce was not made the same and the food is nasty. I called to politely express my disappointment and the guy that answered the phone, (the owner's nephew) didn't care about my disappointment. I grew up in the neighborhood where the restaurant is located and moved to Columbia. I drive all the way to this location because the food is always good. Tonight will be my last time orderingfrom this restaurant, you lost a 20 year customer.

The food was excellent. The dumplings and spring rolls had a lot of filling inside. The lo mein had a lot of pork and veggies. The beef broccoli and the general Tsos chicken were delicious and generous in size. Overall we were very satisfied with the restaurant and the delivery person. Only thing--I requested the driver to include chopsticks and chili sauce but he must have forgotten.

Visited on Friday Dec 3 at 11:05a.m., A worker emerged from off the floor and yelled at me in broken english ?we not open?. I said well the door was open and your sign states you open at 11. He looks at the clock and says we open at 12. Then he goes back on the floor?appeared to be doing something under grill area. This was a major turn off and has motivated me to turn to YouTube and learn how to cook my own Chinese food.

Crowded. In area. Even snuck in a bonus roll. Tasty hit and fresh. Must do for lunch or dinner.
