I Frati - Catania

While staying at the BnB down the street, we tried this pizzeria. The staff was all very friendly and the pizza was amazingly good. A lot of choices and all rather interesting. We may go back before leaving town.

We found this place by chance. My wife and I were staying in a close B&B house and decided to find a local place to eat. I usually do research in advance from TripAdvisor before going to somewhere when I'm abroad, however this time things have evolved purely by chance. We were passing a restaurant at the corner of the street and when I take a glance at the inside, I saw families, friends and couples enjoying their dinner with sense of satisfaction and a happy smile on their face. First I did not realize the name of the restaurant, furthermore it was not written somewhere in the restaurant or on the menu. Waiter who served us, did not know English, neither an explanation in English was in the menu so we had to use our phones to translate from Italian. We ordered pizza as the main course (there was over 40 kinds of pizzas in the menu and dessert and coffee after that. All of of them were very delicious. Our waiter tried to help us very much and everthing went fine. Overall I'd say I left I Fratti happy :

Good local pizzeria, old rustic atmosphere decent pizza and you can tell fresh ingredients, good for a short relaxing meal .

Nice place I presume to family management, excellent service pizza menu very varied very celery and especially soft pizza and easy to digest.conto in the norm,I highly recommend trying it.
