Galatea - Catania

Frequented for coffee on the fly but also for fast lunches. Staff available and courteous, the dishes are well prepared, more than acceptable the distance between the tables in relation to the available space. Outside there is a space with tables and chairs. The toilet is clean and pleasant.

Small but supplied bar, I managed to find both the vegan croissant and the soy cappuccino. Both very good. The cappuccino had a nice foam and the crocodile was very light, beautiful and very pleasant to the view (not only on the palate). I have to do my most sincere compliments! Always kind staff, still compliments!

Good granite and brioches, nothing to envy at the most renowned bars in the area. Resuited costs after restructuring, however on average. Extreme affability of some boys at the tables. Recommended

I came here alone to journal. I enjoyed the cappuccinos and croissants. I then switched over to Prosecco and my friend joined me. They ordered the local pasta, which consisted of Pomodoro sauce and eggplant. It was simply delicious. Antonio took care of us. Before I asked for something, he brought it. His English was fantastic and he was just… great all around. If you want to have a local feel, please come here. I was able to have a local authentic experience. If you want to be the only tourist somewhere and have some excellent Sicilian delicacies, COME HERE! Ask for Antonio and be ready to enjoy everything. The area is wonderful too, I added pictures to share some of the local ambiance.

This was a fantastic find! It is a small cafe with prepared meals for either take out or to dine in. I had a pasta Norma and a half order of eggplant parmesan. I loved both. My daughter had sausage and potatoes. She loved it. There was a fantastic young English speaking waiter that did a great job taking care of us! Thanks for a great lunch!
