Always wandering by catania, New Year's lunch we made it at the restaurant chef dedè, located in the central area. we have chosen the solution New Year's Menu (35 euros,) that in the order has introduced us: a hint of almond milk oyster, the turquoise stuffed with mullets on fondue of English-speaking pleasure, potato dumplings filled with ricotta and black sepia, fish turban in sweet and caponata and to conclude chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. practically creative cuisine with the use of local products. It's okay, with a special mention for the peanut and the tortino. service maybe a little slow, but very courteous staff.

My wife and I chose the New Year's menu while we ordered the card for the children. all the courses have been of our pleasure both for the palate and for the view. the well balanced flavors with the right consistences. With refined ingredients of great quality, delicious preparations of great goto. modern environment with a pleasant look at traditions. the main flavors of the courses were enhanced in their combinations: in the appetizer the octopus with potatoes, in the first the pistachio of bronte with the shrimp, in the second calamari with a perfectly balanced filling with almonds, raisins, capers. dessert on the top. pear spinella caramellata con scorzette di mandarino, stuffed with ricotta, che oserei define poetic; tart with cream pastries and apples of the ethn, delicate and fragrant.
