Buatta - Catania

We had a great eating experience here! Our server, Toby helped with a beer choice for my husband and explained the meat and cheese plate we had before our delicious pasta dish. Thanks for the great meal and attentive service!

Food was so so and rather pricey. Don’t get the concept of the Coperta charge and then telling us there is no tip included.

Stopped in to have a cocktail while we decided where to have dinner. The cocktails and service were so good we stayed for dinner. The food was great and had a different spin which was a nice change of pace. The bartender/server and host were so much fun. We chatted it up with them and learned so much about catania, culture, etc. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my fourth visit and for the first time I was really disappointed. The service was chaotic and in parts unfriendly and sloppy. Our bottle of wine never saw a cooler (outside temperature 32 degrees), plates were taken away, even though somebody was still eating and the service was at times pushy making us feel we need to leave. The starters were good to great, the main course, especially the meat, was dry and nothing special. All in all, disappointing and I’m not sure if I will come again.

Excellent food, fresh and tasty. The pulled pork was really good. The semifreddo al pistachio was also really good. The staff is nice and service quick.
