Bidrage med feedbackSmall cute cafe that bakes a bunch of non-vegan empanadas but has one that is vegan. I was told all the sweet ones use butter. The vegan one has peas, olives, tomatoes, onions, and potatoes and was excellent. It was already made and still warm from the oven. They’re a little small by most standards, (especially at $4 a pop) so would take at least 3-4 to make a full meal. Tasted very healthy without compromising taste, and we appreciate that they aren’t deep fried.
They have a savory vegan empanada and a sweet one. For a place that is meat and dairy based, their vegan options are delicious! The empanadas are a little pricey, but in my opinion worth it! And they are a good size. Also they are made to order especially the vegan ones), which I love because you are guaranteed a hot empanada. The wait for them is approx. 12 minutes, so if you want to be in and out try calling ahead of time. If you got time to spare they have a couple small tables. Cute little authentic place!

Yum! My husband and I stopped for coffee and tried the Empanadas for breakfast as they were there. The empanadas were definitely the best part we were sad when the box was empty. I loved the spinach, sweet potato and humita flavors. The place is small but clean (and cute!) and the staff was friendly and patient with all our questions as the first timer.
