Covered terrace with windows that can be almost completely opened on hot summer days. We tried the special pizza: mozzarella with yellow date tomatoes, sausage and endive. Well cooked dough, it was soft and crunchy at the edges without burns. Tasty taste with the right contrast between the sweetness of mozzarella, the slight acid of cherry tomatoes and the very light bitterness of vegetables. Pizza price 12 euros maybe above average but the result is worth the expense, alternatively a myriad of other varieties. It is worthwhile to taste turcinieddhri, lamb entrails wrapped in intestinal mesh, grilled or grilled. Accompany them with the cicore reste , the stewed chicory with very little tomato. The taste of traditional poor Salento cuisine will be opened to you. A good wine from the Antica Torre di Leverano wine cellar will be a worthy accompaniment to the meal. Friendly and kind staff, especially Vincenzo. There are no photos of the turcinieddhrii, you have to discover them, while the pizza had already started because of the smell it gave off
We visited for dinner two nights in a row. As a gluten free eater this restaurant was AMAZING! pretty much everything on the menu can be gluten free and everything I tried was absolutely delicious! On the second night as we paid the bill the chef/owner offered my dad and I are little shot of his home made limoncello- I was genuinely humbled. Thank you so much for your delicious gluten free food and friendliness!
We eat the best pizza ever!!!! at this place. Champion in pizza, and that's no joke. We can recommend with must enthusiasm. Nice people, good service! We shall come back soon.
