The Castle Arms - Castletown

Just fantastic boozer. Like walking back into 1979. I love this place. Unpretentious, unfussy, dark and cosy, my favourite on Mann so far, The Bay View Hotel in Port Erin coming in a close second.

A real local treasure. This is a pub like pubs used to be, a friendly and enjoyable night. This is a place filled with the treasures of history. They proudly display the £5 when they were profiled on this note.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and I had a great evening. The space is somewhat small, and it became quite crowded.
