Bidrage med feedbackDuring our travels throughout Ireland, we made it a daily ritual to enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. This particular restaurant stood out from the rest! We sampled four of their delicious cakes, all of which were amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!
You won't get better than this thick-slice of bakery heaven anywhere in Kerry. Beautiful secluded garden/patio area. Food is homemade, wholesome and plate-licking good. Try the lemon tart with cream, the bacon and tomato quiche, or chunky tomato soup. They also have a little craft shop area where they sell delicious local marmalade and home-made chocolate muffins. There are also knitted goods like bracelets and other colourful trinkets- even marbles, which are practically a collector's item these days! They stop serving at 5pm and if you want takeout pizza for the evening, you need to order in well ahead, preferably before lunch, as they make them during the day, a rather vital fact that's not at all obvious to the uninitiated.
Jane's baked goods are second to none! We loved staying in her B&B and exploring the water! Will definitely return again!
This restaurant is a lovely, tranquil spot with a warm atmosphere and a wide-ranging menu. The scones and tea were delightful. We plan to return as soon as possible!
I had tried to visit this restaurant before but it was closed. However, this time it was open. Even though I didn't have time to sit down and eat, I did purchase some delicious cupcakes and homemade chutney. I will definitely be returning next time to both eat and buy more items. Can't wait!
