The bar had dusty blinds and the room and bathroom were not well-maintained. The bed frame and bathroom were dusty and in poor condition, with peeling paint and a dirty fan. The basin accessories seemed rushed, the toilet seat was chipped, and there were cracked tiles. There was no hot water for showering, and other guests were also unhappy about this. Despite being advertised, there were no complimentary toiletries. The room had a poor view and was cold upon arrival, taking a while to warm up with outdated heating. However, the restaurant served delicious dinners and a nice breakfast. The staff were friendly and the Guinness was good. There were plenty of towels and the location was convenient.

The restaurant is spotless and the staff are very skilled and knowledgeable.

The complimentary breakfast was disappointing as the chef was not there the next morning. The staff member in charge could only offer toast as she was not skilled in cooking. I recommend avoiding room 8 and making sure the chef is present for breakfast service.

WORST STAY EVER, HAD TEEN DAUGHTER WITH US SO BOOKED A ROOM TO SUIT ALL 3 AND GOT A FILTHY ROOM WITH 3 SINGLE BEDS PUSHED IN TOGETHER. WHEN ASKED ABOUT THIS WE WERE TOLD THIS IS ALL THATS AVAILABLE. WE HAD BOOKED 6 WEEKS IN ADVANCE AND THATS ALL THEY COULD PROVIDE, "ENOUGH SAID.

Very noisy, woke up with walls shaking in the middle of the night as drunk people in next room. This went on for more than an hour. No security nor guarantee of a rest as reception closed. For €180 a night, this is unacceptable!
