The Exchange Coffee House

This was the worst coffee I've ever had in my life. It tasted like someone crushed up cigarettes and brewed water through them.

This coffee house is a part of the "The Canyons" community, but it’s open to the public and hosts some fantastic weekly events. It's truly a freelancer's paradise! In addition to its amazing patio with a firepit, sofas, and various seating areas, "The Exchange Coffee House" offers a wonderful selection of drinks, pastries, toasts, and healthy snacks and salads.

This restaurant was charming and offered a welcoming atmosphere for families with young children. I appreciated the ample space, which allowed for comfort even during peak hours. The menu is great, with plenty of allergy-friendly options. However, I was very disappointed by the lack of attention to my order. I have a wheat and dairy allergy (not an intolerance or a choice, but a serious condition). I ordered an oat milk vanilla latte and gluten-free avocado toast, but received an oat milk latte without the vanilla. Thankfully, the server was kind enough to add the vanilla afterward, since I had paid extra for it. Unfortunately, I was also served regular avocado toast instead of the gluten-free option. I trusted the staff and unknowingly took a bite before realizing it wasn’t gluten-free, leading to an allergic reaction that could have been avoided. This is incredibly disappointing and unacceptable. If gluten-free is offered on the menu, it should be taken seriously when noted on a customer’s order. Overall, it's a cute place with great coffee, but I wouldn't recommend the food for those with wheat allergies or celiac disease.

It is nicely done inside but the food is very basic. Why would any sort of a reputable coffee house serve food to adults on paper plates though? I'm not a child at a birthday party.Also internet doesn't work :
