The Salutation Inn - Castle Combe

We visited last Saturday, and it truly felt like a genuine pub. The food selection was impressive, with generous portions at affordable prices—there really is something for everyone. David was extremely welcoming, and our waitress was delightful; she was attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately, we don’t remember their names, but we really appreciate their hospitality. We would definitely recommend this place and plan to return. We had a wonderful evening!

Charming and welcoming village pub! I enjoyed the roast beef on Sunday, and it was absolutely delightful—everything was served hot. My partner had the fish and chips, which was a generous portion. We can’t wait to return soon!

I had a wonderful dining experience here! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The location is also fantastic. I will definitely be coming back. The manager is a true gentleman.

A friend brought me to lunch today. pub lunch time menu was amazing, with all kinds of mouth water options, but they also had a table with a 'fish finger sandwich' on it. we both decided for the sarnie and not only was it made home fish finger in a crusty ciabatta roll and tartar sauce and rocket, it was served with an espresso cup of bred sweet soup that we drank with the sandwich. beautiful, inexpensive and exactly what the dok would have ordered on a creepy day like this. saluation inn near grittleton wilts, I salute them.

Tasty Sunday roast this weekend! Really loved the attentive and smiley customer service. They were very accommodating and tried to fulfill our daughter’s baked beans request �We’ll be back!!
