Bidrage med feedbackI walked in the main street and worked a sweet little tooth. I entered the coffee and tea of vintage mountain. Everyone was so kind.
This being my first time in this part of virginity, I didn't know it was so close to a college.
After visiting the other vintage mountain coffee pitches in roanoke, I was very disappointed by this place of salem.
Travelling through the region we were very fortunate to find La Taverne. When we arrived the immaculate bedroom, with very comfortable bed and great air conditioning, felt like a haven after travelling through the heat wave. We received great service while we were there, and the meal was absolutely superb! M.Besson is a very talented chef and his use of fresh ingredients and flavours is outstanding. We will definitely return and would recommend the hotel/restaurant highly.
The 3 course lunch menu was good value at 23 euros and with the addition of three very tasty amuses-bouches and extra sweetmeats with the coffees, we felt as though we had enjoyed many more courses. All were tastefully presented and an excellent balance of flavours. The restarant is smart but not over formal. There is a large shaded terrace which is ideal when it is warm.
