Superb Sicilian cuisine!! We drove to Castelmola on the recommendation of our hotel. Upon arrival at the top, there is a restaurant busy with tourists on a viewing platform...ignore it! Continue in Castelmola and you come across Gallo Cedrone. Ricardo was an amazing cook/host that is very passionate about eating. We had a pizza and the eggplant abomatin with Parmesan. Bruchetta as a start was a pleasure to load olive oil and beautiful tomatoes with warm crunchy bread. Simple Sicilian food made to an incredibly high standard, with a beautiful view of Etna. Best restaurant in Sicily so far
