Le Millesfoglie - CASTELL'ARQUATO

Pizza had a nice thin base, well cooked. Ingredients were good, a bit light on the mozzarella. Prices for the region were excessive, 4 or 6 euros for an ice cream, the 'fancy ' pizzas were 15-20 euros which is off the scale compared to other pizzerias in the area. Unfortunately the pizza didn 't sufficiently differentiate to warrant the premium price. 3 stars because of the price, otherwise perfectly nice, and probably above average pizza.

We ate here recently and the pizza's were superb. However, they were very expensive which was surprising for the region.

We just love this place. Jacib is an excellent and passionate chef and his Lebanese food is truly wonderful, as are his beautiful delicate pastries and delicious home made ice creams. We discovered Le Millesfoglie last year whilst on holiday and noticed a Lebanese tasting menu attached to his more traditional (but fabulous) pizza menu. We booked (you need to book at least 24 hours in advance for his freshly prepared Lebanese menu) and had a fantastic 5 course tasting menu, which was so good, we decided to go again to Italy this year just to eat his food! It was my sisters birthday and Jacib cooked us 4 courses of unbelievably good seafood dishes followed by his amazing ice creams, my sister particularly raved about the pistachio. Jacib has a delicacy of touch to his cooking, it is vibrant, always fresh, imaginative and beautifully seasoned, he really is a master of his trade and we will return again and again to his restaurant.

Pizza tutto sommato buona. Anche il dolce non era male. Servizio non velocissimo. Prezzo nella norma 2 pizze, 1 acqua, 2 dolci 44€

Pizza buonissima, prodotti di qualità, dolci eccezionali. Ho scelto la pizza tonno molto buono, ma purtroppo l 'ho trovata troppo piena. Come detto sopra la tartare di tonno era buonissima, segno di un ottimo tonno. I dolci sono strabuoni: io ho preso il semifreddo al gianduia, ma anche la meringata era buonissima (porzioni abbondanti anche per i dolci . Per chiudere: il prezzo è giustissimo e quasi sotto la media. Sicuramente ci torneremo. Buon appetito :
