Camilla - CASTELL'ARQUATO

We eat here every year when we are in Italy. Sampled a variety of foods from the menu, all good. They have a pizza oven and do takeaway pizza. Usually eat there in the evening but this year we stopped on our cycle ride and had the excellent value/quality set menu at lunchtime (workmen’s lunch). Lots of local tradesmen stop there. Seating inside and out. Highly recommend.

We have eaten here quite a few times on our own, with family and also with some of my friends from England over the past few months. It is without doubt the nicest and friendliest restaurant and bar. The pizzas are the best, so say my friends too, and the salami fabulous. Highly recommended for a meal or even just for a few drinks and a relax.

Local food fresh and cooked properly. Family atmosphere gives a bite of life in the countryside. Mix of starter absolutely great. You can also see the chef cooking pizza in the wooden oven.... Handmade deserts completes a very nice meal!

Good. spaghetti with mixed seafood and fried, to be recommended.... and then the gigi is the gigi. Number one.
