Leucosia - CASTELLABATE

Great local food, not expensive, but very tasty! We had a Pizza Porcella and Parmigiana di melanzane, which both was really delicious. The day before we were in an Restaurant, where taste was similar, but price was triple!

A lasagne in an Italian restaurant. What could go wrong. Well after a lengthy wait, the lasagne was bought to the table luke warm at best, and a tiny portion for the price charged. I asked the waiter to bring a hot lasagne thinking they would present me with a newly cooked version. Not at all, the same lasagne came back burnt, hard and tasteless. No apology from the very surly waiter. I ate it because I was hungry and could not bear the hassle and was then charged for 2 lasagnes. The bill was corrected, but again no apology. It seemed the waiter thought it was my mistake! So a tasteless and overpriced Italian staple in an Italian restaurant in Italy. No thank you!

We ate here four or five times during our stay in SMC. Very friendly family run eatery where you can sit on the main drag and watch the world go by. Excellent pizza, tasty home made pasta and other Italian dishes. Brilliant value for money. It’s very popular with the locals, which speaks to its authenticity and good food. Highly recommend.

Loved this little street bar. Great owner friendly fun good service always with a smile from all his family. Loved little Fredrico!

Very good service good staff just watch the world go by, just order a drink and snacks are plentiful right in the middle of town
