Osteria Della Torre - CASTEL RITALDI

Off the beaten path and wonderful! Great wine selection! Bruschetta board, salmone with sagrantino passito, costata di cinta griglia (grass fed pork) and an awesome local wine selection.

We were given the name of this osteria by the villa owner, where we were staying near Spoleto. It was located in a small village and may have been the only restaurant there. It was the epitome of what north american restaurants try to emulate...with respect to decor. All our meals were delicious and the piece de resistance was i dolci dessert). If you are in the area I highly recommend you try it, you won't be disappointed.

I would normally wait until after more than one visit before giving such a positive review, but on being introduced to this restaurant by a very knowledgeable local friend I have no hesitation in giving five stars. The menu was authentic and varied and the...ambience was friendly and informal. The four of us each different dishes all of which were superb so I will not make any specific recommendations, other than just go there.

This place was racomanded to my by many people, so i went there. THe pace is nice modern and cude. THe waiteros was not so simpatic but ok. THe food was something new, nice new combination but unfortunately i have to say not so good...cook. The meet was dry, rostet potatous without tasty.

Grande taverna dove si mangia divinamente. il proprietario andrea grande cuoco, la madre un aiuto cuoco donna veramente ospitale al massimo. serata trascorsa in ottima compagnia dove eravamo davvero felici per l'ottimo cibo. la pasta fresca fatta da loro, che dire mai mangiato un piatto così buono. torneremo il prima possibile per assaggiare i famosi cappelletti. ottimo anche il servizio.
