Restaurant Le Loup Bar - Cassis

If you are staying at Roches Blanches I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is a little bit slow but the view is great and the food is very good.

This week I spent an unforgettable evening with girlfriends on the terrace bar Le Loup Bar. The bar is right on the sea, overlooking the cliffs opposite the bay (where the light and color changes every five minutes) but it was the staff and food that made this evening so magical. I've lived in Provence for over twenty years and this is now one of my favorite destinations. Stellar food (super fresh tuna tartare and beef tataki with scrumptious salads) and the best white and red from two of Cassis's famed vineyards. Bravo!!! et merci pour cette soirée magique!

An evening meal. Nice view. That's nothing to say. That's why we're going. Not for food quality. It's light, belly and door. It's expensive, too expensive... very expensive. We ordered a tuna tartar and its algae. Or rather the opposite. Price 35 €. Size: medallion thickness 1.5 cm. I'm not exaggerating. And yes I forgot: the dish, finally the medallion, is served alone. If you want to add fries, it will be €9 for the fries plate. Let's consolate a local wine. Suction? No problem, a Paternel, classic in the classics here. It'll be 60 €. This is the first prize in white. Let's see the pink side. Same thing. No! Oop! A small hill is 50 €. It's the cheapest. Go for the rosé, we came for the view, not for the prices. We go from 150 € to two for 2 glasses of rosé to aperio (15 € per glass), 2 tuna tartars (35 € per dish) and a bottle of rosé to 50 €. We were very well served by a young man... very understanding of our remarks at the end of the meal. He offered us a ceviche dish in consolation. Thanks to him. The view had not shaved us enough. NOTE: The same evening, at the table next to a quinqua couple as we did exactly the same remarks and had the same disappointment as we did.
