Bidrage med feedbackNice place but you just meet betelnut trees It's not a spice farm at all Food is poor and the place is vey expansive 4500 roupies for 4 peoples and 2 children Very poor
Rrally nice place to visit. You get to know a lot of facts about various spices which you never knew.
Not for those who like their rural experience sanitized under the not so subtle sometimes insipid 'Tourist Umbrella'. After a personal tour by our very informed and entertaining guide, - he spoke to us like we were children on a school tour - the teenagers were somewhat put out but that was part of the experience for us. Extremely popular among locals in the know, your meal is planned, prepared and served according to strict Religious and/or Ayurvedic traditions. The cooks and kitchen staff follow strict culinary rules in the prepping, cooking and serving. While allowances are made for various palates including young children, the simple, traditional and seriously delicious buffet has bags of flavour in every morsel sampled. Local visitors at another table likened the meal to going back to the ancestral home-front during school holidays and grandma's been busy in the kitchen! A rough diamond, but if I could, I'd be back in a heartbeat!
This is a lovely spot to spend the day. The Goan food is delicious and gives a rural experience. The plantation is also very good. A visit is a must.
The restaurant is in a beautiful location surrounded by betel nut trees, but it is not a spice farm at all. The food quality is poor and the prices are very high. We paid 4500 rupees for a meal for four people and two children, but the experience was disappointing.
